A group of St. Charles College students participated in the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation Walk hosted by N’Swakamok Native Friendship Centre on Sept. 28, 2023. This walk of commemoration honoured residential school survivors and those who did not make it home. Students heard from elder Nokomis Martina and dignitaries from Sudbury. Local author Waub Rice and his family shared life teachings and thoughts on reconciliation. It was a wonderful day of sharing and learning!
