St. Charles College has partnered with Hockey Canada to offer the “Hockey Canada Skills Academy” program.
Our goal is to enhance a player’s confidence, individual playing skills, self-esteem and leadership while giving them opportunities in both academics and athletics beyond the regular classroom. These opportunities are supplementary to the physical and tactical aspects of hockey taught with their regular minor hockey club team.
Open to male and female students from grade 9-12, the Skills Academy is designed to challenge and inspire all student who participate in it. Is it a complete program that includes in-class instructions, on-ice skills, office-strength and conditioning, mental training and personal development. Student athletes learn and improve advanced skills and tactics, while developing a lifestyle on and off the ice that emphasizes building character through achieving both athletics and scholastic success.
